to try not to think
holding my head up with the bathroom sink
Nothings right at first, Im incensed by the drone
salty and stoned
could another understand
a memory I can't regret
was it ever my own
I've never heard perfection scored alone
And I felt the pull believe me, on god
a feeling so full and if its possible to pull a soul away
(then what is there to say)
And now my friends are arbitrarily deciding
more favorites, metal fingers, metal faces
masks foreign to my frustration
like the terrible master, furious at the slave
wondering why they must force this grown adult to behave
